2022 Mentorship Connection

In 2022, we brought 20+ students and connected them to Mentors while also teaching them various life skills online.

We met online via WhatsApp, every month Starting Every First Thursday of the month. We have now combined our mentorship curriculum with our technology and life skills enrichment program (TECHPLUS)

The 2022 mentorship program was open to students in senior secondary school, those that have completed secondary school and awaiting admission, and those who are currently in a college and hoping to change to another program or school.

Students that were determined to be accountable for their goals benefited greatly from the program.

All the students joined for the 12 months of the program, working on their SMART Goals

First time students completed an intake form

This first homework was also the intake form, and it helped the students to further review their SMART goals so that they can subsequently track them they progressed in the Mentorship program.

The first homework took at least 30minutes to complete. Students were encouraged to type/write your answers in your journal/notebook before filling out the form.

Once they completed this first homework, students were matched to with a mentor who provided them with their personalized tracking document.

Students were taught various life skills topics including goal setting, decision making, self esteem building and many more.

We have now combined our mentorship curriculum with our technology and life skills enrichment program (TECHPLUS).

Students in this program make a commitment of at least 1 year (3 semesters) to learn any of Coding, Robotics, Web Development or Media. In addition to the technology skills, the students are immersed in various life skills enrichment courses covering topics in leadership, financial literacy, entrepreneurship and health.
